The Lady Warriors JV defeated Wyoming Valley West JV in three sets, 10-25, 25-12, 15-3.  IN digs, the team was led by Katie Rowlands(7), Melania Mazzeo(8), Janessa Haros(7) and Allie Silinskie(4).  Kyla Harry recorded 3 kills and Allie Silinskie added 5.    Liza Chinikaylo recorded 2 blocks, and 6 assists.  In service points the team was led by Melania Mazzeo(18) and 7 aces. Janessa Haros added 4 service points and 2 aces.

The JV Lady Warriors won in 2 sets tonight vs Wilkes-Barre Area 25-22, 25-20.  The team was led in service points by Melania Mazzeo with 19, including 3 aces, followed by Janessa Haros(4) and Allie Silinskie(.  Liza Chinikaylo(4) and Katie Rowlands(3) led in assists.  In kills, the team was led by Kyla Harry and Liza Chinikaylo with 5 each.  In digs, leading the team were Melania Mazzeo(5), Katie Rowlands(6), Kyla Harry(5) and Kacey Kelly(3).    

WA Lady Varisty Warriors took the third set, but dropped the match 3-1 to Blue Ridge Tuesday, 16-25, 8-25, 25-22, and 12-15.  The team was led in service points by Abby Hoyt with 10, Julia Crane (7), Emily Jackson (4) Victoria Krupkevich (4), Gabriella Almendro-Mirat (5). Julia Crane (11), Emily Jackson(12), Gabriella Almendro-Mirat (9), Gaby Vogel (15), Katie Rowlands (6), Victoria Krupkevich (9) and Abby Decker (4) led the team in digs.  Victoria Krupkevich recorded 4 aces.  In assists, Gabriella Almendro-Mirat led with 7.  Abby Hoyt led in kills with 3. 

The Lady Warriors lost in 3 sets to Pittston Area in the first scrimmage action of the season, 25-17,25-23,25-20.  The team was led by Julia Crane, Victoria Krupkevich, Ella Schultz, Gabriella  Almendro Mirat, Gabby Vogel and Emily Jackson.  Julia Crane had 5 service points along with Ella Schultz (5) and Emily Jackson (7). Victoria Krupkevich recorded 4 kills, and Gabriella Almendro Mirat had 3.  The team was led in digs by Emily Jackson(10), Gabby Vogel (6), Gabriella Almendro Mirat (13), Ella Schultz (7), Victoria Krupkevich (13) and Julia Crane (12).  Service Points were recorded by Julia Crane(5), Ella Schultz (5), Gabriella Almendro Mirat (4), Gabby Vogel (4), and Emily Jackson (7).

The PIAA first official practice date for Volleyball is August 16th.  All physicals must be submitted online and are required to attend August 16th 1st practice for the season.

The initial summer conditioning schedule was released.  Updates will follow shortly via the remind app and the Lady Warriors Volleyball Facebook site.

Lady Tiger Annual Volleyball Invitational

The Lady Warriors varsity team participated today in the Lady Tiger Invitational, finishing in 4th place.  The participating varsity players were Gabriela Almedro-Mirat, Julia Crane, Gabby Vogel, Lauren Earlley, Abby Hoyt, Emily Jackson, Victoria Krupkevich, Melania Mazzeo, Claudia Papa, Katie Rowlands, Ella Schultz, and Allie Silinskie.  Playing 9 games, the team defeated Lake Lehman, Susquehanna, while needing the 2nd game to defeat Abington Heights.  Making it to the final 4, the team did lose single-elimination games to Towanda, Athens, Tunkhannock, dropping 2 sets to Athens in the playoffs.   

The Lady Warriors to the court for the last time on Wednesday, October 20th.The varsity, led by seven seniors finished the year in league play with a record of 2 wins and 12 losses.  They were: Abby Hoyt, Julia Crane, Emily Jackson, Ella Schultz, Gabby Vogel, Claudia Papa and Gabriela Almendro-Mirat.  Rounding out the varsity team as juniors were Melania Mazzeo, Allie SIlinskie, Janessa Haros and Katie Rowlands.

The Lady Warriors JV Volleyball team defeated Dallas this evening in three sets, 21-25, 25-20, 15-8.  The team was led in service points by Melania Mazzeo(8), Janessa Haros(5), Kyla Harry(3) and freshman Kaia Brown with 15.  Melania Mazzeo(17), Janessa Haros(9), Maddy Ratchford(7), Kyla Harry(5) and Kacey Kelly(7) led in digs.  In kills, the team was led by Melania Mazzeo(3), Katie Rowlands(5), Liza Chinikaylo(4) and Kyla Harry 4.  In assists, the team was led by Katie Rowlands with 5 and Liza Chinikaylo with 10.  

The Lady Warrior JV team defeated North Pocono in three sets, 27-25, 13-25, and 15-8.  The team was led in digs by Katie Rowlands(6), Janessa Haros(5)Kacey Kelly(8), Maddy Ratchford(6), Melania Mazzeo(15).  Melania Mazzeo recorded 4 kills along with Mady Ratchford and Katie Rowlands who had 3 each.  Katie Rowlands recorded 9 assists, and Liza Chinikaylo added 4.   In service points the team was led by Bella Vogel with 11 and Melania Mazzeo with 4.
